Course Description: This course uses an equity lens for exploring the role of family engagement to support learning, distinguish between information-sharing and communication, and explore collaboration as stages of shared planning. Participants will become familiar with promising practices that can promote and strengthen family engagement.


Objectives:
* Develop an equity lens for exploring the role of family engagement to support learning.
* Focus on the role of communication in our work with families.
* Become familiar with promising practices that can support and strengthen family engagement.
