Description
Course Description:All learners deserve access to high-quality teaching and challenging academic content, but differentiating instruction for the many needs of students in today’s classroom can seem daunting. This course introduces a framework to guide teachers’ planning and make differentiation easier. Participants will leave with a simple model and ready-to-use strategies for meeting the needs of a wide range of learners within a single classroom.

Objectives:
*Understand the basic principles of differentiated instruction and how it can meet the needs of a wide range of learners.
*Explore a model for differentiated instruction to guide the planning of lessons and assessments.
Learn strategies for differentiating to give all learners access to meaningful academic content.

Audience:Teachers K-12. No prior knowledge of differentiated instruction is required.

Time:The course is organized into 6 modules, approximately 20 minutes each, and includes videos and supplemental resources for further exploration.
