Series Course Description: This course is part of a three-part series designed for instructional leaders who want to take their schools' instructional practice and culture of feedback to the next level. Participants will use an instructional checklist, developed by Nicole Scariano, throughout the series.
Course Description:
For this course, participants will explore student engagement using checklists to help teachers leverage high-impact practices for greater results.

Objectives:
*Examine an expanded set of classroom look for’s for student engagement based on the work of Philip
Schlechty, focusing on both attention and intellectual engagement in the classroom.
*Utilize a checklist for unpacking student engagement.

Audience:Leaders, Teacher-Leaders, Mentors, K-12

Time:This course will take approximately 1 hour to complete.
