Description
Course Description:In this introductory course, participants will explore a common definition of culture through a review of the work of Zaretta Hammond and Dr. Jeff Duncan Andrade. This course is intended for teachers or leaders who want to consider how culture is seen and experienced in their school and classroom contexts.

Objectives:
* Learn common definitions and visuals of culture.
* Explore Dr. Jeff Duncan Andrade’s concept of community responsiveness.
* Explore the role of culture in school contexts and how it impacts your school system.

Audience: All school staff K-12

Time:This course should take 1 hour to complete.
