Feedback: Giving and Receiving It Effectively

Description
Series Description: This course is part of a two-part series on feedback, however, each course can be taken as a stand-alone. These two courses explore what feedback is, what we might consider when we plan for feedback conversations, including when giving advice. Participants will also explore ways in which we can facilitate feedback conversations through instructional coaching, using effective questioning when reflecting on teaching and student learning.

Course Description: This course explores giving and receiving feedback is an integral part of
continuous learning. Participants will explore why feedback may not be received well, falls flat or goes unused altogether at times. Learn strategies backed by science to help improve both giving and receiving feedback during conversations. Consider how to adapt your questioning in conversations to adapt how you give advice.
