Academic Intervention Services (AIS) for Nonpublic Schools


Description
Series Description: This course is one of five courses to support topics that pertain to nonpublic school leadership in NYS. Each course is offered as a stand-alone topic; however, we invite you to explore other courses within this series.

Course Description: How do you support students at risk for not meeting state
standards in ELA and Mathematics as measured by 3-8 state assessments? Learn what AIS is, ways to implement it, and the funding available for your nonpublic school. The NYS Academic Intervention Services for Nonpublic Schools Program Guidance will be discussed, along with additional resources to explore for MTSS.

Course Objectives:
* Understand the AIS for nonpublic schools' process including:

* What it is?
* Who it is for?
* How to access it for your school?

* Explore additional resources to support MTSS in schools.
